BCBS doesn't require additional certification for telehealth. Typically, not all BCBS plans cover telehealth, but they have stated that they will cover it during this time.

==Update== 3/16/20 at noon via Lauren Leone on STC: “I just spoke with someone from Provider Services at BCBS. So far they haven't made any changes to their policy, and only subscribers who have telehealth in their benefits will be eligible for telehealth right now. The person I spoke to clarified that subscribers are eligible for BH telehealth whether they have telehealth benefits in either their Medical OR Behavioral Health policy. Also, while some subscribers' policies state that telehealth can happen as “audio or video” we will only be reimbursed for video.” ←— May not be legal given the governor's order. Also possible an act of the state legislature will be necessary to make the governor's order have force.
